Apartment Notifier is a personal apartment-hunting tool: it watches saved StreetEasy rental searches and texts you the moment a new listing matches, and lets you update your search criteria by replying to that text.

SMS program disclosures

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is used only to operate your own alerts, as described below.
Message frequency varies — you're texted only when a new listing matches your saved search, typically a few times a week at most.
Message and data rates may apply.

Information we collect

To send you alerts, we collect and store:

Your phone number, so we know where to send alerts and can recognize your replies.
Your saved search criteria — neighborhood, price range, bedroom/bathroom count — either entered directly or described in a text you send us (e.g. "change price to 3500").
A short message history between you and the service, so a follow-up reply like "make it $200 more" can be understood in context.

How we use it

Your information is used for exactly one purpose: running your listing alerts. Specifically, to:

Check your saved searches on a schedule and text you when a genuinely new listing appears.
Read your text replies and update your saved search criteria accordingly.
Diagnose delivery problems if an alert fails to send.

We do not use your information for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with any third party except the service providers below, each of which only processes what's needed to make the alerts work.

Service providers

These providers process your data solely to operate the service on our behalf:

Twilio

Delivers and receives the text messages themselves. Your phone number and message content pass through Twilio to reach your handset.

Firecrawl

Fetches publicly listed rental data from StreetEasy on our behalf. No personal information about you is sent to Firecrawl.

Anthropic

Interprets the text of your replies (via the Claude API) to figure out how to update your saved search. Only the message text and your existing search criteria are sent — never your raw phone number.

Message frequency & opt-out

Message frequency varies — you're only texted when a new listing matches your saved search, typically a few times a week at most. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for assistance. You can resume alerts by texting us again.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your phone number, search criteria, and message history for as long as you're an active user. Reply STOP or email us to request that your data be deleted; we'll remove it within a reasonable time.
